Where to Catch 4th of July Festivities in Wine Country

The 4th of July Parade around the Historic Sonoma Plaza

City of Sonoma

Named the 8th best 4th of July celebration in the country by Travel+Leisure Magazine! The parade will begin at 10am and wind its way around the historic Sonoma Plaza. Then stay afterwards for the festival featuring food booths and games. End the evening with the spectacular fireworks show above General Vallejo's Field/Field of Dreams starting at dusk.

Petaluma Fairgrounds

Celebrate America's 250th birthday with the City of Petaluma's high-elevation fireworks display. Limited paid parking available at the Fairgrounds Parking lot, but community members are encouraged to gather with friends in neighborhoods and parks across the city.

The Green Music Center (Rohnert Park)

The Green Music Center at Sonoma State University hosts a major celebration featuring the Santa Rosa Symphony, the Transcendence Theatre Company, a Kids Zone, and a fireworks finale. Tickets at $46-76

Sonoma County Fairgrounds (Santa Rosa)

Stop by the fairgrounds and enjoy live music, food vendors, the pillow fights and end the evening with the fireworks celebration. Gates open at 5pm. Admission is $10/person.

Live music, food, kids activities, and fireworks benefiting local children's programs. 

Tickets are $10/adults and $5/kids. Event begins July 3rd at 4:00pm.

Napa County

 

Downtown Napa/Oxbow Commons

Napa's Parade starts at 9:30am along 2nd and 3rd street. The Oxbow Commons will have events beginning at 3pm with a Kids Zone and Live Music. The City of Napa will not host traditional fireworks due to fire hazard. Instead, a massive 400-drone light show will illuminate the sky above the Oxbow Commons at 9:30pm.

Calistoga 4th of July Celebrations

The parade starts at 11am along Lincoln Avenue with festive floats, local organizations, and hometown spirit. The celebration continues at Pioneer Park, at 7pm -10pm a high-energy laser light show transforms the night sky with synchronized music, vibrant colors, and immersive visuals.

St. Helena will host kid's activities, food trucks and live music at Crane Park just before the holiday weekend on July 3rd.
